Clayewater Planning Group are able to produce full planning drawings to meet your requirements. The first stage of the design process involves a meeting with the client to ensure we fully understand and can meet the needs of your proposal, we take into account your budget and timescales. At this stage we will advise of any constraints that are present and whether you will require any external surveys/reports. If so, we can obtain quotes and instruct qualified professionals if it is something we are not able to cater for in house. 


Our in-house design and drawing team have extensive knowledge of construction and building to provide a cost effective and creative drawing service. We have experience producing all of the required building regulation architectural drawings, detailing exactly how the building will be constructed and the materials to be used. We also liaise with other construction professionals to ensure any additional structural calculations or SAP calculations are submitted with the application. 
With over 30 years’ experience our small but very talented practice offers a number of services that are key to obtaining success in planning and building regulation applications.

We can advise in respect of those cases where it would be worthwhile seeking formal pre-application advice from the Local Planning Authority prior to submission of a formal planning application. 


The Clayewater Planning Group is experienced in the formulation and submission of planning applications for all types of development. Our involvement begins on day one with advice on the appropriate type of application to be submitted and direction of the planning application process, including bringing together a specialist project team when necessary to ensure that your application stands the best possible chance of success. 
If you have submitted your application we can take over and track its progress, troubleshooting any issues that arise. We can also draft speeches for Planning Committee. 


If you have been refused planning permission, you are entitled to lodge an appeal against the Council’s decision. If appropriate, Clayewater Planning Group can present a sound and reasoned planning argument in favour of your proposal. 


If you have recently received an Enforcement Notice, you should contact Clayewater Planning Group at the earliest opportunity. We can liaise with the Council on your behalf. Depending on the outcome of the Enforcement issue, an appeal or submission of a retrospective planning application may be necessary. 


The planning consultant co-ordinates all of the various supporting statements and is usually best placed to pull everything together in an overarching Planning Statement, which addresses the planning policies of relevance. We work closely with a number of different consultants, including transport planners, architects, ecologists and drainage engineers, and are well placed to assemble project teams and in turn manage and co-ordinate their inputs.
